    Dana Beecher began his real estate career in 1978 in New York, NY, first as a marketing director for Meadow Real Estate in Southampton, Long Island and soon becoming a residential agent. Dana joined Helsley-Spear specializing in old industrial buildings within residential zoning. Next joining Bruce Ratner of Forest City, Dana helped clear the way for what became MetroTech, a 16-acre corporate campus in downtown Brooklyn. A majority partner in MetroTech, was Joseph M. Mattone, Sr., ESQ, Dana's next employer which lasted for 12 years.
